Hi there readers, I have to apologise for my absence from this blog which has been longer than I had intended, for reasons both technological and personal. However I am back again and intend to be here once more for the foreseeable future as actually I do enjoy writing these things.
Firstly I was taking a holiday which was fun and necessary to get a good rest. Besides which I love to get out of UK and spend time in a warmer climate. Secondly where I was, the technological shortcomings were fairly severe and the chances to connect online limited. Every time I thought I had solved the connectivity problem it seems that another one arose, either through the wrong equipment or geography. And of course it was hot which militated against trying anything too hard!
Furthermore I became sidetracked by a general remark from a coach which suggested to me that I was doing things on here completely wrong and did not have a clue what I was doing. This sort squelch actually threw me so badly that it left me wondering for almost a month how I should proceed. Of course though some people do things by the book-the total expert’s guide to doing blog posts. Hrumph! I was so thrown by this coach’s negativity that I almost let things slide into complete anomie. Schade! One should not be put off by things like negativity or someone thinking theirs is the only way.
Obviously the formal way of doing blogging the total expert’s way is not mine as I cannot spend loads and loads of time on just writing one post and get it all dolled up. Why? For the simple reason I have a life to lead, other things to do…….One can be too perfectionist! So the advice of that particular expert has now been countermanded by the advice of another whose mentality is slightly more in keeping with my own.
The moral of the story is this: One should not let one person’s view stop one doing what is both productive and enjoyable. Actually if one has put work into something like I have on my blogsite then one should not let one high-minded perfectionist throw a big spanner in the works. Not all expert advice is equal or useful. So now I am coming back into production and will continue what I both enjoy, and know I can do!
Obviously in life one takes responsibility for one’s actions though one’s judgement may get clouded by others and like everyone I live or die by my own successes and failures. But I also recognise that sometimes obstacles not of one’s own choosing occur and the applecart gets upturned.
Well now the applecart is back on the path and looking to make progress.
Thank you for reading.
